About RooftopBarsNYC

The city changes.
The view still gets us.

A New York rooftop project built over more than a decade, for people who live here and people who have been dreaming of the trip.

A good rooftop depends on your night.

The tallest bar is not always the right bar. Neither is the most expensive one. We choose rooftops for distinct reasons: a skyline you came to see, a cocktail worth making time for, an easy group meetup, or a good early-evening offer.

How we put the guide together

Our current selection is researched from official venue websites, menus, reservation pages, and published policies. Each venue guide links to those sources and includes a date for the information we checked. Our recommendations explain who a place suits and what might make you choose somewhere else.

These are researched guides, not claims that we have recently visited every venue. Venue photos are credited to the venue and may show a different season or setup. The actual table, view, and outdoor access can vary with your reservation.

Details that deserve a second look

Happy hours end. Roofs close for weather. Pool access and bar access can be separate. We call out those distinctions and send you to the venue to confirm the final terms. A listed offer or walk-in policy is never a guarantee of availability.

Booking your night

Direct booking links take you to the venue or its reservation provider. They handle availability, payment, entry rules, and cancellations. For larger celebrations, use the venue’s group or private-event booking process; an inquiry is not a confirmed reservation.

Something changed?

Tell us the venue and the detail that needs correcting. An official menu, booking page, or announcement helps us check it.
