The team that brought The DL and Dinner on Ludlow to the Lower East Side has recently built a rooftop lounge in Hell’s Kitchen with sweeping views of Manhattan. The 5,000 square foot bi-level venue, boasting indoor and outdoor space, is located in the penthouse of the Hilton Garden Hotel at 251 West 48th Street near 8th Avenue. The DL’s Mino Habib and NYC nightlife veteran Paul Seres are at the helm of the space located on the 15th and 16th floors of the property. Habib will also head up operations. Bookings are being taken for private parties and corporate events.
Renowned designer Marc Dizon (Hakkasan Las Vegas, Revel, The Darby) was brought in to renovate and redesign the space and took his inspiration from the golden era of Hollywood. The 16th floor rooftop celebrates the bold patterns and relaxed environment of Beverly Hills pool lounges and outdoor gardens while the lower level lounge, with floor to ceiling glass windows, is inspired by the robust architecture of Richard Neutra and the post contemporary Hollywood Hills vernacular. It’s a cozy lounge with a sunken living room feel. The color palette is silver and grey with warm woods. Large bars on each level, plush seating, a DJ booth with state of the art sound system and multiple screens integratedinto the design for corporate branding and event branding are some highlights of the space.
“If you want a little of a Downtown vibe but happen to be in Hell’s Kitchen, then The Attic is just the spot. The massive bi-level 5,000 square foot space was designed to evoke the Hollywood Hills and is brought to you from the DL and Dinner On Ludlow team from the LES. Order specialty cocktails from a menu created by Rael Petit from the Mulberry Project. The lively spot has a great sound system with rotating DJs, so it’s great if you’re out for a clubby dance spot with a view.”

“Sprawling over the 16th-floor rooftop of the Hilton Garden Inn Times Square, this nightspot takes a design cue from Old Hollywood and its lush indoor/outdoor parties. Along with cocktails, there’s an eclectic dinner menu by Chopped winner Diane DiMeo, and there’s also an interior DJ lounge downstairs.”

“Overlooking the Hudson River and the skyscrapers of Times Square, the Attic Rooftop & Lounge opened in New York’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood in June. The bilevel venue covers 5,000 square feet—an indoor-outdoor rooftop space on the building’s 16th floor that holds 450 guests and a glass-enclosed lounge on the 15th floor that holds 150. Each floor has its own bar and DJ booth. The design from Marc Dizon has a silver, grey, and white color palette and incorporates banquette seating that could be used for V.I.P. areas.”
